This time of the year is particularly hard for Ginger Katz of Norwalk. Her son Ian, who died of an accidental drug overdose on Sept. 10, 1996, would have celebrated his 34th birthday on Dec. 31. It’s also difficult not having him around at Christmas, a holiday he loved so much.
